One of the biggest issues facing us in our field today is over-representation of students from diverse backgrounds in special education programs. And, it all starts with over-referrals for evaluations. So frequently, children who speak another language other than English in their home setting get referred by teachers who have a cultural mismatch with those students. The good news is that there are a lot of ways that we can help teachers make good referrals to us and to not refer students simply because they speak a language other than English.

Watch these and then join us for the full story to get the tools and strategies you need to improve the evaluations that are being referred to you!
