Next year Bilinguistics turns 20! We wanted to say thank you for all the interactions and the support you’ve given us over the last 20 years. We’re also really excited to tell you about four incredible projects that we have rolling out in 2022.
1. Improve Your Evaluations!
We are committing 2022 to being that year that we make evaluations easier, shorter, and more effective. Want to help? (Pretty please!) This survey takes 1 minute and 7 seconds to complete. Let us know how long it takes you to do evaluations.
Next year we will be white-boarding solutions for our field that will get everyone producing highly effective reports faster. Give us your feedback so we can get you exactly what you need.
2. Conference on Mastering Evaluations
On January 11th we kick off a 3-day virtual conference with 3 experts on the evaluation process. These individuals all come with decades of experience. They are authors, they are test creators, and they are researchers, so they know their stuff.
The goal of this conference is to help us all better evaluate students from diverse backgrounds. And they’re coming to us with some really great strategies, tips, tools and ideas to help us do that.
3. Launching the New Bilinguistics.com
In 2022, we are completely rebuilding Bilinguistics.com. People have joked about posts that broke the internet. Well, you guys pretty much broke our website with over a million page views last year, and hundreds of users visiting the website every single hour. We’re rebuilding it so that you can find what you need and so that the 80 plus online courses play seamlessly on any device.
4. Join us in Belize and earn 30 ASHA CEU hours
In July, we’re taking 30 to 50 SLPs to Belize to do a full week of classes and cultural events. You’re going to get 30 hours of ASHA CEUs, a Certificate in Cultural & Linguistic Diversity, and we have the coolest events planned.
You’ll come back having had an experience that forever changes your practice. You can read more on our study abroad landing page and we will have an information session coming up soon.
How are we going to do all of this?
After 20 years, the formula for success is pretty clear:
We are privileged to work among some of the brightest and kindest speech-language pathologists. We are always super busy but it is important to take a moment to introduce you to the team that is behind all of the resources we bring you.
