Bilingual speech assessments can be tricky because we know that sounds from one language can influence sound production in the other language of a bilingual. In this workshop, we’ll walk through the process in its entirety and give you the opportunity to transcribe what you hear, analyze your data, design a dynamic assessment, make a diagnostic decision, and set intervention goals. We’ll not only describe the three main steps of a bilingual speech evaluation in great detail. We’ll show you how we walk through each step with real clients in video case studies. We’ll also give you the opportunity to walk through the entire process yourself with guidance so that the next time you are asked to do a bilingual speech evaluation, you’ll take it on with confidence.[/toggle]
