Storytime 11.1

ACTIVITY IDEAS:

 Set up a story corner in your home where you and your child can read

together. Let your child choose a book and look at the pictures together

before you read it.

 Talk with your child about the parts of the book. Label the tle, author,
illustrator, front and back covers, and the pages.

 Take your child to the library. Pick two books on topics that your child will
like (e.g., dinosaurs, princesses). Hold up the two books and ask your child
which book he/she wants to read. Sit down and read the book.
