Cumulative Story Games
Cumulative stories do just that, they
accumulate. A character moves through a story
and collects objects, eat things, or gathers
friends to support an outcome. In the Gigantic
Turnip, a farmer cannot pull a turnip out of the
ground. He slowly gathers his wife, one cow,
two pigs, three black cats… to all work
together. We made a board game of the
characters designed around Trivial Pursuit. A
