Bedtime 12.1
ACTIVITY IDEAS:
When it is me for your child to brush his/her teeth, ask where things are as
you look for them. (e.g., “Where is the toothbrush?” “On the sink!” “Where
do you put the toothpaste?” “On the toothbrush!”) Have your child point,
use signs, words, or phrases to respond depending on his/her level.
Talk about the steps we take when we go to bed. Draw pictures of what
happens at bed me and help your child put them in order. Talk about what
is happening in each picture and encourage your child to talk about each step
and label items they see. Use these pictures when your child is going to bed
to show him/her what he/she needs to do and what is coming next.
