Crown of Friends FRIENDS
Show an example of a finished crown. Explain that the friends are holding
hands because they care about one another.
How to: Cut out the crown template. Glue or tape the people to a
headband. Create up to five people holding hands. You can add hair or hats
and vary the activity by making a crown of family members or a crown of
different occupations. For younger students, sometimes it is easier to make
crowns that only have two people rather than five stapled to a band of
construction paper so they can create it faster and you can fit it to their head
easier.
Use construction paper, crayons and glitter glue to add hair, faces, and
clothes to each person. Decorate the base of the crown with glue and glitter to
make designs. Staple or tape the ends of the crown together to wear!
Materials: construction paper, construction paper, crayons, glitter glue or
puffy paint, scissors, stapler
