Facts and myths about bilingualism are also covered. This presentation concludes with case studies to demonstrate how to effectively apply all of the information.

This course was designed for monolingual and bilingual Speech-Language Pathologists who work with children learning English as their second language. A framework was provided to help speech-language pathologists increase their clinical judgment in determining whether bilingual students are impaired.
