Dr. Ellen Kester – Bilinguistics
Tuesday August 31st – 5-6:30pm CST
Course Type: Live Webinar
Whether monolingual or bilingual, Speech-Language Pathologists face language evaluations in languages they do not speak. It can feel daunting but it doesn’t have to.
In this workshop we’ll address the practical side of a language evaluation in another language, including practical tips for finding interpreters, working with parents as interpreters, finding tools to use in your evaluation, and assessment methods that take into account the interactions between two languages in children learning more than one language at a time.
