Spanish Storybook Links

October 26, 2009

Hello,

At TSHA you mentioned in Bilingualism 101 that a university
had conducted a study on literature based intervention and they had
a list of the best storybooks. Could you please give me the
information on this? Thank you very much.

Here are the two links:

Good Resources on Bilingualism

October 19, 2009

Does anyone know of good resources (books, articles, etc.) for language
developmental milestones for bilingual and/or monolingual Spanish-speaking
kids? So far we have these great books, but anything else anyone may have
come across, please send along.

-Cultural and Linguistic Diversity Resource Guide for Speech-Language
Pathologists by Brian Goldstein.
-Bilingualism in Development: Language, Literacy and Cognition by Ellen
Bialystok
-Bilingual Language Development and Disorders in Spanish-English Speakers
by Brian Goldstein.

Thanks!
