Spanish Conversation Group in Austin
September 14, 2009
Hi everyone,
A Spanish conversation group has been put together in Austin, TX. Here are the details!
5:00 pm Tuesday, Sept 15th @ La Feria on S. Lamar
All levels of Spanish skills are welcome so long as you’re willing to do
your best to speak Spanish (i.e. if I hear you speaking too much English,
I will kindly redirect you:). Depending on your level, you may consider
bringing a Spn/Eng dictionary to facilitate your conversations!
You are welcome to extend this invitation to Spanish-speaking (regardless
of the level) friends whether they be teachers, SEES staff, spouses,
neighbors or whomever. Native and near-native speakers are especially
welcome to come and be good models for the rest of us!
Please keep in mind that this is a Spanish conversation group, not a
Spanish class. I can give you the name of a friend who actually teaches
Spanish to adults if that is more what you are looking for.
Another thing to keep in mind is that this will be very informal. Picture
hanging out with your friends, but in Spanish.
I hope to see you there!!
Lisa
